How breathwork works?

Breathwork is a form of somatics meaning it works with the body - we use the conscious connected breath to place your mind into an altered state of consciousness so that your body can take the drivers seat and guide to where it needs healing.

Breathwork session

We offer a range of breathwork sessions tailored to your needs, whether you're a beginner or looking for deep emotional healing. Our sessions include:

Personalised Breathwork Sessions:

All our sessions are catered to the individual and what they need in that session and are perfect for beginners to learn basic techniques or for experienced individuals wanting to go deeper.

Deep Healing Breathwork:

Aimed at releasing deep-seated emotions, energy and trauma.

Nervous system regulation:

We focus on regulating your nervous system and stress response cycles and patterns.

Online sessions:

Breathwork sessions are also offered remotely for those who prefer the comfort of home or are in a different city/country and want to work with Mel.

Community Workshops:

Experience breathwork in a supportive in-person group community setting you find out more about upcoming events here.

Trauma-Informed Breathwork:

Specially designed for those healing from past trauma and repressed emotions. Mel is an experienced trauma informed facilitator who is currently in her final year study of becoming a therapist, alongside this she is trained in energy healing modalities & currently completing her breathwork facilitation certification.

Somatic practices:

Mel infuses all her breathwork sessions with additional somatic techniques and practices.

Energetic healing:

Mel uses reiki to work the subtle energy body supporting energy to flow during your session releasing any blocked energy you may have in your energetic body & centers.

Safe practice:

Each session is ended with an integration grounding practice and space to share what came through for you.

Hey there! I'm Mel, the heart and soul behind Mindful.

 

I am a devoted mother, partner, and entrepreneur, who has a passion for holistic wellness.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Anthropology, and currently pursuing a Master's in Counselling, my academic journey guides me in advocating for natural approaches to trauma and mental health, rooted in personal experience.

Mindful is my vision for a healing space where natural and modern systems align to support others in their journey to overcome addiction and unresolved trauma, offering affordable resources and services.

I'm a fierce advocate for natural wellness, embodying a lifestyle centered on plant-based nutrition, mindfulness, and a balanced mind, body, and soul.

 

I aim to bridge the gap between mainstream therapy and natural healing modalities, advocating for their integration into holistic wellness practices.

As a mother navigating the complexities of raising three beautiful souls, my personal journey fuels my commitment to holistic living, resilience, and continual growth.

 

Through this lens, I inspire and empower others to embrace a balanced, authentic life.
